The picturesque village of Hathersage lies in the wonderful Hope Valley which is in the heart of the beautiful Peak District on the A625 - about 9 miles west of The City of Sheffield. There are very good links to the M1 to the East (Junction 29 to London is only 15 miles away).

The Bus Service provide good links to Sheffield, the nearby market town of Bakewell, Chatsworth House, Buxton, Castleton and other local villages and towns in the Peak District.

The railway station in Hathersage lies on the main line between Sheffield and Manchester. Trains from Manchester and Sheffield stop regularly and the mountain and moorland views seen from the train are superb.
